Universal Credit is being introduced in stages. You may be able to claim Universal Credit if you live in certain parts of the UK.
You may be able to claim Universal Credit if you live in a jobcentre area listed below. Further jobcentre areas will be added to this list as Universal Credit expands. If you have children you will only be able to claim Universal Credit if you live in a jobcentre area that is marked with an asterisk (*). If you are not able to claim Universal Credit yet you may be able to claim Jobseeker’s Allowance or other benefits.
This list was last updated on 26 January 2015, when 26 jobcentre areas began taking claims from people with children.
